It’s Friday; I’m in Love #30

Dunno what he's watching, but he's into it.I have this growing collection of #yankeecandle products I can't burn yet.

It’s a very gray, wet day around here; the snow and ice are dripping from the edges of the roof and falling past the window while I lie in bed to type this up. It’s certainly bringing me down a bit, so I’m thinking I’ll make some hot chocolate later, work on a new quick knitting project, and finish the book I’m reviewing for IGGPPC this month. I also really want to finish Wintering, which I’m thoroughly enjoying and can’t wait to talk about in my monthly review post. I think it might claim my favorite spot for the month–though Horns was wonderful too. We shall see.

care packages for friends ♥ collecting some books from my parents’ house even though I don’t have room for them all ♥ new hand-knitted mitts ♥ garden + home planning ♥ browsing for humane society dogs online ♥ daily poetry ♥ homemade hot chocolate ♥ cats in windows ♥ “Weeds” ♥ finished knitting projects ♥ internet breaks ♥ record player days sitting on the floor listening to RVIVR as the vinyl spins on my turntable ♥ the anticipation of finally burning my candles in a few months ♥ getting my mom a birthday present

“It’s Friday; I’m in Love” is a (mostly) weekly gratitude post. It aims to remind myself and others of the good things from the past week, big and small; to share ways to make the next week a positive one; and to serve as a record to look back on for the not-so-great days to come. The title comes from the song by The Cure.

  1. It’s incredibly grey and rainy here today as well, though I am thankful for the fact that it’s rain and not more snow. Mmmm homemade hot chocolate. . .I whipped up a batch of white hot chocolate this week!
