Firstly, I would like to say thanks for the feedback on both posts this week. All the comments I received made me feel loads better about everything–so thanks.
Life was pretty adult this week, with a trip to the dentist and paying for it myself and making the drive home because Dan started to fall asleep (defeating the purpose of asking him to drive me to my appointment in the first place). I’ve also been trying to get some work done on various projects. I’ve got my zine half assembled, and then I hope to find a few pieces to put together the next issue of Small Parts, which should go much quicker than OGBC.
I’ve also started my NaNoWriMo prep, and of course as soon as I came up for the topic for my novel, I wanted to start on it right away. I’ve been accidentally writing bits and pieces in my head as I fall asleep, so I’ve been trying to remember them and write them down for when I can get to work. I’m feeling very confident about NaNoWriMo this year, so I’m pretty stoked to begin.

“It’s Friday; I’m in Love” is a (mostly) weekly gratitude post. It aims to remind myself and others of the good things from the past week, big and small; to share ways to make the next week a positive one; and to serve as a record to look back on for the not-so-great days to come. The title comes from the song by The Cure.
